Peaches and Cream Iced Tea Recipe
This tea tastes heavenly! It reminds me of eating fresh peach pie. I like to use fresh cream, but half and half works just as well.
Makes 2 Quarts
- 1 Quart Hot Water
- 8 Tbsp. Loose Peach Flavored Tea Leaves
- 1 Cup Light Brown Sugar
- 1 Quart Cold Water
- ½ Cup Half and Half OR Fresh Cream
- Fresh Peach Slices for Garnish (optional)
Bring one quart of water to boil. Add tea to Takeya Iced Tea Maker Infuser OR to a tea filter bag and infuse in hot water. Steep tea for five minutes. Remove tea in the infuser or bag of tea and discard. Add sugar and stir to dissolve. Add remaining quart of cold water. Chill. Serve over ice and garnish with fresh peach slices. Add a little half and half to each glass to taste.
For a sweet touch, you can dip rims in additional brown sugar before pouring tea. (optional)
